1. Aeroclube da Ilha Terceira (Terceira Air Club) houses one based Cessna 172, registered CS-DBF and three other homebuilt and ultralight private airplanes, namely CS-XAB Taylor JT1 Monoplane, CS-UQH Urban Air Samba XXL and CS-UUW Land Africa.
2. Força Aérea Portuguesa (Portuguese Air Force) is the main operator at Lajes with a Detachment of 751 Squadron flying two Agusta Westland EH101 Merlin performing airevac and search and rescue missions.
There is also a detachment from 502 Squadron, composed of one Casa 295 medium transport for SAR support, airevac and general transportation duties.
