1. Aeroclube da Ilha Terceira (Terceira Air Club) houses one homebuilt and three ultralight private airplanes, namely CS-XAB Taylor JT1 Monoplane,  CS-UUW Land Africa, CS-XAJ Rans S-6 Coyote II and CS-UQM BRM Land Africa.

 

2. Força Aérea Portuguesa (Portuguese Air Force) is the main operator at Lajes, with newly reactivated 752 squadron, flying two Agusta Westland EH101 Merlin performing airevac and search and rescue missions, from may 2023.

There is also a detachment from 502 Squadron, composed of one Casa 295 medium transport for SAR support, airevac and general transportation duties.
